Men’s Ministry
The Vision:

The Mission:
“To share the good news of Jesus Christ, encourage and equip men on their spiritual
journey, develop new leaders, and initiate boys into the brotherhood of men.”
Our Men’s Ministry (MM) is
directed by Lon Labine, lay leader. Lon has
been working with a growing team of men for the last 2 years in an attempt to build a
vibrant, life-impacting ministry for the men of Moscow, Idaho. A good many ideas have come to the table regarding
the needs of men and opportunities to minister to the men.
Many of these ideas have been simple, while others have been more complex
and even grandiose. There is no doubt that God
wants to use the men to change the culture of our church and, ultimately, Moscow and the
surrounding communities. However, we are
maintaining a realistic outlook: building this ministry will take time. Things will not happen overnight and God’s
timing is usually not our own. Research into
the development of men’s ministries in other churches has shown us that it can easily
take three years or more to build a vibrant men’s ministry. We have been at it for 24 months and are slowly
progressing, by the grace of God.
