Sunday school begins in the ‘Big Room’ with singing and prayer from 9:00 ~ 9:15am.
Then the children are dismissed to their Sunday School Classes with their Sunday School teacher. Our Sunday School classes are broke out by grades. Preschool/Kindergarten, 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, and 5th/6th Grade. The kids are in their Sunday School classroom from 9:20 ~ 10:00am.
After Sunday School, the kids are led upstairs to the ‘Big Room’ for singing, then at 10:15 head to the ‘Dining Hall’, where they enjoy breakfast and fellowship before they begin ‘Cross Training’, which begins at 10:30am!
Sunday School is a great starter to a Sunday morning for your kids. The teachers follow the Church of the Nazarene curriculum which teaches kids the fundamentals of a relationship with Jesus Christ. They also have a monthly Bible Verse to memorize and are given many life application tools to be able to choose to follow Jesus in any circumstance.
We would love to have your kids join us for a great time of worshiping and learning about Jesus on Sunday mornings.

The Moscow Church of the Nazarene offers many programs that take our kids, preschool through 6th Grade, “around the bases” of Knowing, Growing, Serving and Sharing Christ.
The more opportunities we give our kids to hear these fundamentals of having a relationship with Christ, the more the Message will sink in to their hearts and minds. They will also make friendships and find that church is for fellowship and fun while worshipping and learning about Jesus!

Quizzing is led by Pastor’s Wife, Laurel Eby. Quizzing begins, Sunday Evenings September 13th at 6:00pm. The Books of Joshua, Judges & Ruth will be the focus for this coming Quizzing Season. Mrs. Eby will be giving your kids lots of tools to help them memorize and hide God’s Word in their hearts!
Quizzing is for kids 2nd Grade through 6th Grade.
COME JOIN THE FUN ON SUNDAY NIGHTS.
For Those kids not involved in Quizzing, a Children’s Bible Study will be going at the same time! It’s all about learning about Jesus and growing in relationship with Him & Others!

We have 2 nurseries available for ages birth to 4 years old. The nurseries are open for all Sunday AM, Sunday PM, and Wednesday church services, and also for some special programs if needed.
The ‘Bug’ Room is set up for nursing Mom’s. This room is equipped with a TV to allow you to watch the service while you feed/nurse your baby. The Crawler/Walker Nursery is provided for babies newborn through 24 months and is equipped with age appropriate toys and snacks. The Toddler Nursery is for kids between the ages of 2-4 yrs. This room is more of a preschool type class with different ’stations’ and activities. This class prepares our little ones to move into the Preschool/Kindergarten class with a better grasp of sitting at a table, doing art/craft, snack time, having story time and some play time too. Each Nursery has age appropriate toys and furniture. Fun for the Kids at ALL AGES!!!
Our Nursery Staff is led by Tracie Gourley, Nursery Coordinator. She has an excellent staff of volunteers who love babies and work in the Nursery as a Ministry for God. Our nursery provides a safe, clean, and fun environment for the babies. Background checks are performed on all volunteers and workers. We have a strict check in/out policy to ensure the safety of all our special little ones and to provide peace of mind and confidence to all the parents.

Worshipping Jesus through song is a special gift to God from our kids. Kingdom Kids is for 1st through 6th Graders. Rehearsals will be every Wednesday from 6:00- 7:30 pm in the Children’s Wing.
Our kids have fun preparing for their performances while learning great songs that teach about Jesus. This program also keeps them connected to their group of friends, to church and especially to Christ. This year we performed at our District Assembly in Spokane, Washington. The kids’ performance was picked as the top performance, and they were able to open the Evening Service with their Box Turning Song – ‘The Gospels of Jesus’.

- Kids Worship Time
Children’s Church Program ~ Sunday 10AM – 12PM
Cross Training is a Workshop Rotation Program. This means that we rotate each group of students to a different workshop each week. We study the same subject or story for about 4-6 weeks. This is called a Unit. Each workshop teaches a lesson through a different teaching and learning style. By presenting lessons from the Bible in so many different ways, we know our kids gain a thorough understanding of God’s Word and are able to retain the information and apply it in their lives.
The kids begin Cross Training in the ‘Big Room’ every Sunday at 10:00 am after Sunday School. The kids will have a worship time from 10-10:15am in the Big Room, have breakfast in the ‘Dining Hall’ from 10:15 – 10:30, and then come to the sanctuary to join in worship time with the adults until 10:45. At 10:45 the kids will move back down to the Children’s Wing of the church to begin their scripture memorization, and Cross Training activities for the remainder of the time. The kids are split into groups: preschool/kindergarten, Grades 1st~3rd Grade & 4th~6th Grade.
The different workshops we offer are: Drama, Movie Theater, Kitchen, Art/Crafts, Computer Lab, Story Telling, Games, Cooking, and Missions. The groups will spend one Sunday in different workshops throughout the entire Unit. During the Unit, the groups are given a bible verse to memorize as well.
Currently we are working the the ‘Beatitudes’ learning what they mean and how to apply them to daily life as a kid! Next, the kids will have a rotation called ‘Some Son’ taking us through the holiday season. In this rotation, they will learn about Jesus. Why He came to earth. How He grew up. The Meaning of Christmas. They will be doing carpentry, having a birthday party for Jesus, working on a family tree, and other very important lessons! You won’t want to miss these rotations!
This style of Children’s Church is very successful, creative and fun. Our kids love the new format! Hope you can join us for a great time of fun as we learn about Jesus!
